Stephan Naef of Aebi Schmidt is the winner of Switzerland’s CFO of the Year Award
At the Swiss CFO Day 2012 on 19 January 2012 in the Zug Casino (Zug, Switzerland), Stephan Naef was officially presented with the “CFO of the Year Award”. This honor was announced to Stephan’s colleagues at Aebi Schmidt during their annual strategy meeting, held this year at De Baak Seaside in Noordwijk.
The “CFO of the Year Award” honors chief financial officers of Swiss companies for personal excellence and outstanding performance. This recognition is given to one chief financial officer each of an SMI and an SPI business as well as to one member of the CFO Forum Switzerland, an association of some 300 chief financial officers.

• Outstanding performance and achievements as CFO
• Familiarity with the company’s business
• Reputation among analysts and investors
• Current positive references from superiors
The announcement was made by Aebi Schmidt CEO, Walter Vogel. He said, “Stephan represents the values of Aebi Schmidt and has shown by example to the Swiss and broader European business community what these values are.” De Baak Senior Associate Leo Salazar, who together with Associate Raymond Eilander hosted the company in Noordwijk, added, “We see and work with many companies.
