Unconventional Businessschool, Kaospilots, starts also in the Netherlands

By Peter Linde and Floris Koot
We are entering new times and new landscapes. Modern society is fast-changing and chaotic. KaosPilots are young entrepreneurial leaders able to flourish within this context and at the same time add value-thinking to society’s many agendas.
The KaosPilots is a school with a 3-year program that attracts the creative outsider. Its mission: to be the best school for the world. The school focuses on creativity, personal development, adapting to new situations that emerge suddenly, co-operating with loose networks and all basic skills needed to start up innovative businesses with a social agenda. Among its students, the educational program values and stimulates both strong feelings and clear minds.
The school is action-oriented. Assignments and projects are defined by real clients.
Being dropped with a whole team for a three-month period in an unfamiliarforeign country is one of the ways students are trained in resourcefulness.
Our origins are in Århus, Denmark in the early nineties. Since then it has becomea modern value-based education focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship and thedevelopment of society, business life, organisations and people. Companies likeTuborg, Carlsberg, Lego and SAS offer paid training grounds for its students.
Along with two new schools in the Nordic region, Oslo (2005) and Malmø(2006), the KaosPilots Netherlands (2007) represents the first real step outside Scandinavia. The school will be established outside the framework of the traditionalhigher educational system in the Netherlands. The KaosPilots are very happythat a number of partners in the Dutch corporate world see the value of theirapproach and have offered support, as have some real Scandinavian KaosPilots.
Peter Linde is the head of KaosPilots Netherlands and Floris Koot is one of its trainers. De Baak sometimes works together with KaosPilots.
