By traveling together to different country and cultural environments, it is possible to place our learning in a sharply different context. By comparing and contrasting what is known and familiar to us, we can challenge ourselves to question our old assumptions and to acquire new perceptions. De Baak uses the world as a context to challenge its program participants in their learning.
